Theatre
Where artistic practice meets scholarly inquiry
Engage in craft and context; creativity and critical thinking. Create and learn alongside accomplished theatre artists. We believe that taking chances, risking failure, and the act of doing intensifies learning, so we strive to offer situations where your unique talents can coexist with mentorship and expert artistic guidance. Many students are also granted opportunities to explore their own visions and exercise their developing skills through independent projects and self-produced performances.
What’s Playing
All theatre majors are required to participate in a minimum of four department productions, serving in a stage management role in at least one of the four. And with plays, musicals, operas, readings and more happening each year, there are endless opportunities to do so! Check out what’s currently playing.
For Current Students
Current students can log in to access performance videos, photos, honors requirements, advising help and more.
