Class of '08 Environmental Project Fund

The Class of '08 Environmental Project Fund was established by the graduating class of '08 and the Zilkha Center for Environmental Initiatives. This fund will be used to support a series of projects targeted at increasing the sustainability of Williams College.

The Zilkha Center is currently accepting proposals for projects. All proposals are welcome, be they simple or complex in design, intricate or off the cuff. Projects can promote any aspect of sustainability: energy conservation, waste reduction, recycling, renewable energy, water savings and more. Give voice to your vision of the future by submitting a proposal, and identify what you think are important initiatives for your department or campus organization.

Preference will be given to projects ranging from $500 to $2000, but others will be considered (up to a limit of $10,000). Projects will be evaluated on their potential for long term impacts, technical feasibility, creativity, and possible financial savings. Projects will be chosen by representatives of CEAC and the Zilkha Center on a rolling basis.
