Sophomore Year

Summer Two: Real World Exploration!

This summer is an opportunity for you to seriously begin your search for a good career fit. Start early. Take time during Winter Study to explore as many options as possible for the summer. Talk to alumni advisors, reconnect with your career counselor. Continue gathering information about your interests through full or part-time experiences. Carve out regular time in your schedule to attend to your search. Finally, once you’ve started your summer job, raise its value by continually asking for greater responsibility and working to expand your skill set.
