The New Williams College Career Network

Once students have made some initial decisions about the career fields they would like to explore, Williams College alumni can be excellent sources of information and connections. Our alumni are an enthusiastic group eager to help students learn the inside story.

CQ Interactive

Williams OCC is pleased to offer CQ Interactive, a new FREE (for Williams students) online case interview preparation website by Marc Consentino. Marc is the author of Case in Point, the top selling case interview book in the country. In order to access this site you must use your Williams email address to log in and then choose an access code.

CareerSearch

FOCUS Program

To assist students in the difficult process of career discovery and career exploration, the OCC offers a new program called FOCUS. This is an interactive tool that will collect data about your interests, preferences, and skills, and provide you with suggested career paths based on your individual data set. With the results of this self-assessment, and a consultation with a career counselor, you will have detailed information about career options and a good, objective baseline from which to conduct a strategic search.

Going Global Country Career Guides contains in-depth employment details from more than 10,000 resources for finding international employment at home and abroad. Find recommended web sites, detailed resource descriptions, insider tips, and professional advice for vital employment topics including employment trends, industry-specific trade and professional organization information, business resources, work permits and visa regulations, taxes, cost of living, cultural and interviewing advice, and more.

Spotlight on Careers

Spotlight on Careers is a collaborative project initiated by the Liberal Arts Career Network (LACN), twenty-five private liberal arts colleges, to create a dynamic, ever growing library of web links which facilitates the career development process for students.

Vault is an online career library includes industry guides, career guides, employer profiles, career profiles, industry research, and career advice articles.

WetFeet

Wetfeet is a career resource site is an award-winning site that contains comprehensive company and industry profiles, WetFeet Insider Guides, and more. Don't bookmark WetFeet, as it will not work if you try to download Guides from the bookmark.
