Most students come a long way, geographically, to attend Williams College. But those who invest the time and energy find they are resources well spent. We invite you and your family to visit Williams at any time during your college search. In the summer, we offer tours and information sessions. During the academic year, you may also attend classes and campus events, stay overnight in a first-year entry, speak with faculty members and coaches, and meet Williams students. When you visit the College, try to allow time to explore the campus thoroughly and to enjoy the surrounding area. (It has been called the most culture-saturated rural spot in the nation.)

Campus Tours and Group Information Sessions

We suggest you begin your visit in the Office of Admission. All tours and information sessions begin here, and additional publications are available. It is not essential that you call in advance of your visit, but it is a good idea. Especially when your visit falls near any holiday or college vacation period, please call us to confirm times of tours, group sessions, and office hours. Interviews

We would be happy to sit down and talk with you, of course, but interviews are strictly informational, one-on-one versions of a group session, with special emphasis on student questions. They are not required and in no way affect admission decisions. These non-evaluative interviews are offered on campus weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from May 27 until August 31, 2008. Alumni interviews may also be scheduled off campus between September 2 and November 1, 2008. Alumni interviews should be requested via e-mail to Terri.J.Melville@williams.edu.
