Many students spend their summer doing research, either at Williams College or elsewhere. During summer 2008, there were approximately 60 students working with Williams Biology faculty either here on campus, or at Woods Hole Marine Biological lab (with Professor Savage), or at Isle Royale (with Professors Edwards and Smith).

Here's a link to the application form for doing summer research at Williams. Interested students should submit this application by February 18^th. Faculty who will be hiring summer research assistants are: Art (excluding month of June), Banta, Dean, Edwards, Morales, Raymond, Swoap, Smith, Ting and Williams.

• Each year, the the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) grants funds for Student Research and Broadening Access to Science at Williams. This includes:
